Busy weekend

Just back from a very busy wedding fair at the Lymm Hotel. Lots of enquiries and contact forms completed so need to do the prize draw and see who won the portrait shoot.

First wedding fair for us and by all accounts it was very high turnout so let's hope that converts to some nice wedding shoots!

September Wedding Booking

Lots of Wedding shot editing this week and a September Wedding booking from a meeting on Tuesday. Really looking forward to the venue - Davenport Green in Hale, Cheshire.

Really intersting meeting with a member of the clergy on Friday. To say he was not quite what I expected would be an understatement. It's so refreshing when they have a relaxed attitude.

Cocktail parties, Weddings and Baby Bumps

Day off today after a busy couple of days. Good night at the Claire House cocktail party on Thursday and a really enjoyable wedding shoot yesterday with Tracey and Neil. Might just have to watch England later today to get me back down to earth.

Got a baby bump shoot tomorrow with Rachel and Michael - managed to convince her it was a good idea!

First Baby Bump Shoot of the year

Managed to book my first baby bump shoot of the year this week. Only six weeks before her due date so let's hope she holds on until we get the shoot done.

Got a charity Summer Cocktail Party shoot booked for Thursday so hoping for a good turnout. Can't remember when I last wore a tie!

Busy weekend

Shot a wonderful Wedding on Friday at the The Last Drop Village, Bolton with Melanie and Geff. They really were a joy to work with which always helps the event go smoothly.

Couldn't have asked for any better weather which obviously got everyone in a great mood for outdoor shots.

A day at the races at Haydock for some R&R on Saturday and an engagement shoot on Sunday afternoon.

Now it's back to the PC to start culling and editing!

Admin day!

I don't know if you're like me and seem to leave all those admin task to pile up on the corner of your desk but I had to spend a good part of yesterday catching up!

After that I decided to take a look at the album design software from Jorgensen whose exhibiton I mentioned on Tuesday - it really is as easy to use as they claim - now there's a first!!

So a big congratulations to a company whose product actually takes the frustration out of album design.

Album time!

Spent most of today putting together a wedding album, part shot in New Zealand and then back home in Farnborough.

Got a bit fried late morning so headed off to an album supplier exhibition.

Glad I did as I now have a good additional product range to offer - quality products from Jorgensen Albums from Oz. Really nice guys and the software looks simple (wait until I start using it in anger!)

Back home refreshed and finished off the album layout then emailed it to the client in PDF for review.
