Busy weekend

Shot a wonderful Wedding on Friday at the The Last Drop Village, Bolton with Melanie and Geff. They really were a joy to work with which always helps the event go smoothly.

Couldn't have asked for any better weather which obviously got everyone in a great mood for outdoor shots.

A day at the races at Haydock for some R&R on Saturday and an engagement shoot on Sunday afternoon.

Now it's back to the PC to start culling and editing!

Admin day!

I don't know if you're like me and seem to leave all those admin task to pile up on the corner of your desk but I had to spend a good part of yesterday catching up!

After that I decided to take a look at the album design software from Jorgensen whose exhibiton I mentioned on Tuesday - it really is as easy to use as they claim - now there's a first!!

So a big congratulations to a company whose product actually takes the frustration out of album design.

Album time!

Spent most of today putting together a wedding album, part shot in New Zealand and then back home in Farnborough.

Got a bit fried late morning so headed off to an album supplier exhibition.

Glad I did as I now have a good additional product range to offer - quality products from Jorgensen Albums from Oz. Really nice guys and the software looks simple (wait until I start using it in anger!)

Back home refreshed and finished off the album layout then emailed it to the client in PDF for review.

Holiday over!

Well, back from a glorious ten day break in Tenerife. Can't believe how quickly it passed. Lying by the pool, good food and drink with lots of paperbacks.

A relaxing quiet family weekend planned then editing photos from the fashion shoot on 1st of May before it all kicks off with pre-wedding and Wedding shoots and some beautiful properties to shoot. Also got a couple of albums to put together so should be kept busy for a while!

Model shoot

Had yesterday all planned for weeks to do a model fashion shoot at a disused railway station. Check the Met Office web site and it's going to rain!

Rearrange and get use of a great indoor space for the shot, go pick up the girls and head over to the location and g
et all set up for what turned out to be a good shoot.

Good old Met Office got it all wrong as per usual so we could have done the railway shoot after all. Guess it will keep for another day.

Here's one shot from the day - Nicki really is getting into posing with very little instruction!
